Here we go... Those are my past projects
Castle Defender 3D
2016 | Castle Defender 3D was my first coding project built with Blendr, Unity and C#. As the name suggests it was a 3D version of the cult game Castle Defender where the main objective is to defend your castle against the angry looking Tictacs arising from the great sun. Additionally the music was composed with a friend of mine and me.
Type: Online Game
Used: Blendr, Unity, Audacity, FL Studio
Status: Completed, Not open to public
SwissCyberCoin
2017 | SwissCyberCoin was supposed to be an ERC-20 utility token for it's own mining platform we were building. We also planned to sell some Swiss chocolate if you buy tokens. We had some really big mining rigs and electricity bills. It was so much fun setting everything up.
Type: Financial platform
Used: ethOS and self built mining rigs, Solidity for Smart Contracts
Status: Abandoned, never released
bob-architektur.ch
2018 | A nice little website for my dads hustle. I've done it all by myself with HTML/CSS/JS and it's completely mobile friendly. It was the biggest headache I've ever had. I might consider redoing the website soon and add a little SEO.
Edit 08.2020: Did it, now it's using WordPress
Type: Website
Used: WordPress
Blind
2018 | Blind was my first big and professionally done project. It is a dating app with builtin security mechanisms where people would match each other based on their interests without exactly knowing how they look and still stay safe. It was a great and fun experience to code it and I learned so much from it. However, I abandoned the project because there were other interesting projects I could learn from.
Type: WebApp
Used: Nodejs, MySQL, Java, HTML, Bootstrap
Status: Completed, Never published
Discord mass account creation
2018 | This was a requirement for another project (not listed here) which turned out to be relatively big. The goal was to beat Discord's registering security mechanism (sorry Discord) and automatically create hundreds of accounts without being noticed. That was one ride.
Type: Automation software
Used: Python, MySQL
Status: Mission accomplished
Plafuas.com
2019 | This was probably the point where I gave up life. I really needed a side project but didn't know what to do, so I decided to be a dropshipper. After enumerating lots of manufacturers planning and digital marketing I decided to stop it. I just didn't see any value in it except for financial gains. The niche was selling "sustainable and eco-friendly " products. However, it wasn't too eco-friendly when all the manufacturers insisted on shipping their (already broken) products with plastic package.
Type: eCommerce
Used: Shopify, Facebook ads, Instagram ads
Status: Completed, published but abandoned
CryptoTradingBot
2020 | It took me a few attempts to create a functional and good written cryptocurrency trading bot with an integrated backtesting framework. However, this one is quite impressive already. With implementing my own trading strategy (and of course a little bit of AI), I succeded in creating a profitable trading bot. Unfortunately there are no long-term studies yet to measure a sustainable profit. Whatsoever it was more a project to have fun with than something serious.
Type: Bot
Used: Python
Status: Completed, not published
buerge.io
2020 | I created the website buerge.io. However creating it per se had no particular reason. I thought giving my applications a nice smile would be a great idea. So the reason for aquiring the domain was to run my own services and get rid of my Microsoft email address. This additionally allows me to identify companies selling my data and opt-out from their services.
Type: Website
Used: WordPress
docs.buerge.io
2020 | There is a low of knowledge I have to offer but not everything stays in my head. I decided to keep track of my knowledge and publish a website where I hold my recent notes and create blog posts for myself. I it public and freely usable for everyone stomping over it. I don't advertise it since it is only an online notebook for me and not a professionally written blog.
Type: Website
Used: WordPress
darling.buerge.io
2020 | There is an app for everything. I frequently get asked what I want to eat for dinner and lunch. This is a question which I always struggle to answer since pizza is apparently nothing you can eat all day. However, I decided to solve this issue and create an app that is able to list all your favorite recipes and decide it for you based on your applied filters. Additionally, you can find your friends on Darling and share your recipes with them.
This is a project I continuously update and improve with new features, security, and scalability measurements.
The reason for this is the devotion of my cybersecurity studies next year. I want to get hands-on experience which I can totally practice with this application.
Type: SaaS
Used: HTML, CSS, JS, Bootstrap, Python, Flask, React-Native, Jinja, Mongodb, uWSGI, Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX
